She was about my height
Had a lovely smile

With long, dark hair
that she hadn't tied
And those beautiful ocean blue eyes
Oh! just the way I like

She looked so surreal,
I wondered if it was all my mind
But then she came and sat right in front of my eyes
And i realized... god does work overtime!
I skipped a heartbeat or two for sure
And felt something rush inside like never before

She had an air of innocence about her every move
Her pretty face lightened up the place in a glow all new
Just a while back it was all too noisy, way too loud
But as she walked in, she drowned out the crowd
And now that she was there, sitting right across from me
There was no other place I'd rather be

It was to be another evening of eating out alone
But now i had this beautiful company of my own

She was also there all by herself, with no one in tow
I was there... a stranger for her though

But just before she was about to leave
We shared a moment in time
When our eyes met for a brief while
And we gave each other a parting smile

Was out for a quiet dinner at CR2, Nariman Point.
